***I no longer use JBCO (Jamaican Black Castor Oil)***

■ Prepoo: Real Queens Green House Effect the night before wash day

■ Shampoo: lather 3 times with African Black Soap (I shampoo my hair once a month, but if i use gel and want to wash it out, i simply rinse my hair with water, or I’ll do a super light wash lathering once with my african black soap making sure not to wash my scalp, just the hair)

■ Condition: I rarely condition or deep condition but when I do I use a homemade conditioner that consists of eggs, shea butter, evoo and mayonnaise

■ Moisturize/Seal: The Green House Effect ties into my moisturize an seal process because i often moisten my hair with water then i seal with EVOO. It also ties into my styling process because I usually wet my hair prior to styling it then i apply some aloe vera gel, my moisture butter (homemade blend that consists of 8oz shea butter & 1/4 cup glycerine), then i seal with a little evoo…so i moisturize and seal when doing the green house effect or when styling (or both)

■ Drying:I always blot my hair dry with a t-shirt and just let it air dry, I haven’t used a blow dryer in months, but if I needed to I’d do it on the “cool” or “warm” setting not hot

■ Styling: When my hair is curly I usually just rock a curly ponytail, half up half down or a curly fro…when I i want it straight, I flat iron it once for the month and i just wear it down or in a high ponytail

■ Dusting: My husband dusts my hair once every 2 months to maintain the ends…he only takes of about ½ centimeter. I only trim if there’s damage

*I do the Real Queens Regimen/Green House Effect throughout the month which is basically applying oil to your hair when damp or dry (you can braid it for a braid-out or twist out or bantu knot out…whatever you prefer) then you put a shower cap over your head and tie it down with a head wrap (and an extra scarf or a warm hat for extra heat) and sleep in it. I try to do the Green House effect every night…I’ve used this method as my “growth aid” to achieve all the extra hair growth…i average about an inch a month when I do the Green House Effect consistently
